PolyCera Line Also Includes Original PolyCera Membrane for Industrial Wastewater Treatment, Now Called PolyCera Titan
Los Angeles, June 2, 2017 – Water Planet, which developed and now markets the world’s first smart membrane products, introduces PolyCera® Hydro ultrafiltration membranes for drinking water applications. PolyCera Hydro expands Water Planet’s line of PolyCera® membrane products, which until now have been used primarily in industrial wastewater treatment.
Designed for OEMs, integrators and owner/operators who need to maintain high water throughput in applications where TSS, turbidity and pathogen removal are a concern, PolyCera Hydro is a sub-10 nm UF membrane that delivers 6:4:3 log removal (bacteria: virus: cyst) with high sustainable flux operation, fouling tolerance and ease of cleaning. PolyCera Hydro can be used in place of conventional polymeric membranes in whole house or point of use drinking water treatment in high purity and ultrapure water filtration, surface water, seawater and groundwater treatment facilities.
Water Planet continues to offer PolyCera Titan membranes – its original PolyCera product – for membrane filtration in industrial wastewater treatment settings where robust, easy to clean membranes are required to treat aggressive waters, (e.g., oily, extreme pH, high organics, high-temperature). PolyCera Titan is a sub-5 nm pore size UF membrane that delivers next-level oil, hydrocarbon, pH and temperature stability with high sustainable flux operation and ease of cleaning. PolyCera Titan membranes are being used for such applications as produced water treatment, acid mine drainage, refineries, power plants, and food & beverage operations.
